White City Roller Rink
This priceless photograph from the Hamilton Township Public Library Local History Collection depicts the White City Roller Rink at Genesee and Rennie Streets during its heyday in the 1940's.
I never knew there used to be a roller skating rink there. We learn new things all the time. I have to try to check out some of the old places in Hamilton. I can't remember some of the places well.
Hi Jim:)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like what later became Jackson Distributors. A place I loved for all my geeky electronic hobby stuff as a kid in the 1970s :)
This building did indeed house Jackson Distributors for a period of time.
