WWII Honor Roll


 This honor roll was erected on the corner of Schiller and Harrison Avenues circa 1942.  A gold star next to a person's name indicated they gave their life for their country.  At the time this picture was taken, R. Dayton and J.R. Shuffer had paid the ultimate sacrifice.

    My dad and uncle were on that.........my uncle, Donald McCue gave his life......God Bless them All...
