Trenton Evening Times, April 28, 1889
This is another report on the concept of creating a drive along the bluff overlooking the marshes and lakes of what today is John A. Roebling Memorial Park. The previously posted article said Overlook Avenue would extend to Trenton. From this article we learn that it would begin and end at the foot of Deutz Avenue in Hamilton. The lots of the Union Land Association were situated on land adjoining the railroad and canal on the south side of Lalor Street - the dividing line between Trenton and Hamilton.
