1889: Envisioned Avenue

This article gives us the thinking of the developers of large tracts of land of the time period regarding circulation routes.  Plans change and we know that Overlook Avenue doesn't exist as an avenue from Trenton to White Horse.  The Broad Street Land Association had planned to have Overlook Avenue run the length of their land along the bluff (See the 6/25/09 post [Development Label], 1889: Plan for Broad Street Park).
