Rusling Hose Ambulance Corps and Rescue Squad housed a new rescue truck with trailer and two custom built boats in the spring of 1957. The Squad had operated primarily as an ambulance corps prior to obtaining the rescue equipment. The fully equipped rescue truck and boats provided the means for the members to engage in difficult water rescue operations.
