1944: Legion Post Organizes
Trenton Evening Times, November 2,1944
A new American Legion Post numbered 313 was formed in Broad Street Park. Until a permanent home was constructed, the Post met at various places including the club house on Overlook Avenue, Rusling firehouse, the police station and Rowan School.
